Born and raised in Woodbridge, Ontario, Adam began playing the piano when he was five years old, taking lessons from the Bela Bartok Conservatory of Music. Progressing through the levels of the classical program of the Royal Conservatory of Music in both practical and theory.

From Grades 9 through ARCT, he was under the instruction of Dr. George Vona in Toronto.

Adam started playing the Alto Saxophone at age 9, studying under Paul Brodie, and the Pipe Organ at age 12, being taught by John Tuttle and William Maddox. Competing in Kiwanis Festival, the Toronto Music Festival, and the Peel music festival, he garnered several first place awards.

Adam became Organist at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church in Toronto at the age of 16. In his early twenties, he began performing regularly for private events throughout the GTA, and started a teaching studio in Woodbridge. He leads the ministry of music for the Bridge, the contemporary service at St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Bloor st. In addition to teaching, Adam currently performs proffesionaly nearly 200 times a year.

In 2005, Adam was introduced to the Blazing Fiddles through Jeff Taylor, an old friend and partner in crime whom he had met while studying counterpoint as a lad. At that time, Luella Albin was the pianist for the group, and needed someone to fill in for shows that involved travelling. In 2006, Adam became the full-time pianist for the ‘Fiddles. His unique approach to music, and his resourceful enthusiasm have added spontaneity and vitality to the band.
